Andrew and I take great pride in celebrating the Great State of Tennessee, our wonderful City of Knoxville, our scenic Tennessee River, and our beautiful downtown riverfront.
Now, we are pleased to announce the coming of an exciting new venue on the water that will be officially introduced later this summer. She is called the Queen Priscilla and she is a 64’ retired classic cruising vessel. Recently transported from the Wisconsin Dells where she proudly provided sightseeing & sunset dinner cruises for nearly 25 years, her new home will be at the beautiful downtown Volunteer Landing Marina. There, she will serve as a unique venue for docked special events on the Tennessee River.
Currently in the middle of scheduled maintenance and equipment upgrades, it is anticipated that the Queen Priscilla will be ready for operation by mid-July. Although she is fully capable of navigating the swift waters of the Tennessee, she will be used almost exclusively as a scenic venue for meetings and special events at various docked locations along the head waters of the river. Most of these events will include food & beverage provided by a wide variety of popular local restaurants. She will also occasionally used for brief docked overnight stays at home UT football games and other very special occasions.
The Queen Priscilla features a spacious dining cabin with comfortable table seating capacity for 50 – 60 guests. She also has a well appointed service bar, two large 3-section sliding glass doors, eight large 6′ x 4′ screened sliding glass windows, two restrooms, and a spacious covered upper deck with movable gang chair seating for 32 guests.
We can’t wait to sea you aboard the Queen Priscilla very soon!
